Are you ready for what may be the most unique, one-of-a-kind wine tasting event you may experience all year? Our next wine tasting event at Browne Trading Market will be a thorough exploration of the exciting developments in Muscadet Sèvre et Maine. This appellation, widely known for its seafood-friendly dry whites, is undergoing an incredible transformation that is nothing short of wine history in the making. Please join us to experience it for yourself on Thursday May 25th from 4 to 6pm, when we’ll be joined by friends from Wicked Wines, Crush, Easterly, and Devenish, who have helped us to gather 18 wines from 7 producers for this event.
In addition to examples of the classic Muscadet Sèvre et Maine style you already know and love, we will have a good representation of the newly christened Crus Communaux category, wines from specific villages that are aged on the lees for two to four years. We will also have some very special single clos wines that break away from both styles, showcasing yet another facet of this Loire Valley jewel. To highlight the wonderful food-pairing potential of these wines, we will be serving a specially prepared selection of oysters, seared tuna, ceviche, shrimp, and other tantalizing treats. The featured wines will be discounted 10% the night of the event. All our in-house smoked fish and everything in our cheese case will be 10% off during the tasting.

This is a casual, walk-up tasting open to the public. All are welcome, but guests must be 21 or older to participate in the tasting. Discounts do not combine with other discounts, rewards, or promotions. |
